Here the tank is in place and filled with water - no gravel, plants or fish.
My first dedicated hatching tank.

I bought this tank second hand in December 2002 together with two external canister filters, three heaters and four airpumps.
I bought this tank to have a place to hatch for example eggs from Angelfish or as a grow out tank for smaller species like N. multifasciatus and while I had the tank, I hatched a few batches of Angelfish in it.
When I later realized I could have two 12 liter tanks in the same spot, I sold this tank and bought two 12 liter tanks in stead.
Glass tank with plastic frame
An annoying detail with many of those glass tanks with plastic frames, is that the cover glass is only resting on two sides, in stead of all four sides as tanks with aluminium frames normally has. It is more difficult to handle and you can potentially drop the cover in the tank.
